10.1 Platform Role
Cryptome does not hold transaction funds. We only provide deposit constraints and automated rule enforcement.
10.2 Non-Custodial Model
Buyer payments go directly to the merchant's wallet. The platform does not participate in fund transfers.
10.3 Protection Scope
When a merchant commits a clear breach (e.g., non-delivery, fraudulent transaction), the platform may compensate from the deposit according to rules. Compensation is limited to the deposit amount reserved for the order. Full refund is not guaranteed.
10.4 Dispute Handling
When a dispute is filed, the system pauses auto-settlement for that order. The platform does not adjudicate transaction facts but may assist negotiation or trigger rule-based processing based on available evidence.
